About Pogie the Yogie

A yoga series designed for kids and approved by parents!

Join Pogie as he adventures around the community to explore, discover, and get inspired! He learns from real people in real situations then takes all that inspiration back to the mat for a little yoga and mindful movement.

The show sees the world through the eyes of children, filled with awe and wonder while also treating them with respect and exploring emotions, feelings, and positivity. Pogie navigates real situations, like being afraid, trying new things, and working together, in an accessible nonchalant manner. Pogie the Yogie is a mix between the fun we have with Blippi and the feelings we got from Mister Rogers.

Pogie Goes to School!

Pogie loves to perform at schools for kids of all ages!

Pogie Goes to School combines the magic of a live event followed by engaging in-classroom activities, videos, and teacher resources. Using the power of performance and interactive videos, we teach kids yoga-inspired movements, mindfulness techniques, and social emotional skills.

An initial live event is followed by 5 weeks of videos for use in the classroom. Teachers receive guides that go along with the videos which include easy to teach techniques to help kids regulate emotions and promote physical fitness.

Creators

Busy parents of three, Corrina and Patrick Cunningham are the founding team behind Pogie!

During the early days of pandemic, Corrina was struggling to find a yoga / mindfulness series her kids responded to and enjoyed. So, being a producer by profession and by heart, she gave her yoga-teaching husband Patrick a gift box with a shirt in it that said “Pogie the Yogie”  Patrick asked her “This is cool but who is Pogie?” to which Corrina said “You are!” and the rest is history.

Partners in life, love, and entertainment!

Corrina is the original creator and producer while Patrick plays the part of Pogie. Together, they’ve evolved the creative direction and work closely on each adventure as Pogie takes on topics big and small. The married parents love spending time with their kiddos and make each episode a family production!

“Like a Mindful Mr. Rogers”
– Madison Magazine

Madison has its own Blippi — a video series for kids — except Pogie the Yogie incorporates yoga into his Madison-area adventures that take him to local spots, like the Madison Children’s Museum. The online show is created by husband-and-wife team and parents Corrina Crade Cunningham and Patrick Cunningham.
